Need guidance on your home’s architectural plans? Our virtual architectural design review is perfect for homeowners who want a professional eye on their plans before building begins. In this 1-hour session, a member of the experienced House of Jade team will walk through your architectural drawings and provide expert feedback on:
  • Exterior elevations and curb appeal
  • Interior layout and flow
  • Window placement and style
  • Millwork design and detailing
  • Other architectural elements you're seeking input on
After you purchase this package, you’ll be asked to complete a short form outlining your priorities and questions for the review. The consultation will be held via Zoom, Google Meet, or FaceTime—whichever works best for you.
To make the most of your time, we recommend coming prepared with specific areas you'd like feedback on. We’re here to help ensure your home’s design is as functional and beautiful as it is well thought out.
If you decide to purchase another e-design or architectural review package after your consult we will credit your next package by $150 for being a virtual design consult client. We will likely not provide specific selections for your home but will instead give more general selection guidelines.

How does our E-Design service work?

ARCHITECTURAL E-DESIGN PACKAGES: After you purchase your E Design package, you will be directed to fill out a form with details regarding your project. You will be contacted to schedule an in-depth design consultation which will take place over the phone over over Google Meet. In preparation for the phone consultation, we will ask you to provide a PDF of your most recent version of house plans. During your call, a House of Jade architectural designer will go over your needs in detail and make sure we are all on the same page. Depending on the scope of your e-design project, we will provide general guideance as well as detailed redline markups.

STANDARD E-DESIGN PACKAGES: After you purchase your E Design package, you will be directed to fill out a form with details regarding your project. You will be contacted to schedule an in-depth design consultation which will take place over the phone. In preparation for the phone consultation, we will ask you to provide measurements and photos of your existing space, as well as 2-3 inspiration images for your project. During your call, a House of Jade designer will go over your needs in detail and make sure we are all on the same page. Depending on the scope of your e-design project, we can work with existing furniture already in your space or come up with a completely new space.

Following the in-depth phone call, the design phase will begin!

When the design work is completed you will receive the end deliverable for your e-design project, which will include the following:

  • A detailed floor plan for your space (where applicable - usually not included with the Kitchen and Bathroom Refresh)
  • Inspiration images
  • Design Board plan
  • Shopping list to purchase applicable furniture/accessory pieces including the following:
    • All furniture and accessory selections (art, rugs, built elevations, etc)
    • All hard and soft finishes where applicable (flooring, tile, window treatments, fireplace surrounds, paint colors, etc)
    • All lighting and hardware

This package includes one round of revisions. If additional revisions are required, time will be billed at the rate of $125 an hour.
